Dr. Jesse D. Storts, Jr. graduated from Ardmore High School in 1975, and then attended Oklahoma State University, where he received his Bachelor's degree. He earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma Dental School. He then returned to his hometown of Ardmore, OK and began his practice in 1984.
He and his wife, Mary Don, have two sons with families, Jared and Amy Storts, and Travis, Lauren, and their daughter Sophie. He is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He enjoys ranching, working outdoors, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, and snowboarding.
Dr. Storts was instrumental in adding dental care to the Good Shepherd Clinic, where he serves as a board member. He also is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association, American Orthodontic Association, American Dental Association, and Association of Implantology.
Travis graduated from Ardmore High School in 2005, and then attended the University of Oklahoma where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. He graduated from OU in 2010, and then earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the OU College of Dentistry. He then came back to Ardmore to fulfill his lifelong goal of joining his dad in practice in 2015. He met his wife, Dr. Lauren, in dental school and got married in March of 2016. They had their first baby girl, Sophie, in October of 2017.
While growing up in Ardmore, Travis enjoyed wrestling, playing baseball, and singing. He also had the opportunity to sing with Oklahoma’s University Choir. He spends most of his spare time in Springer, OK working on their ranch, and has learned to love hunting and fishing. His other hobbies include going to the lake, scuba diving, and snowboarding.
After graduating from dental school Travis has become a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Lauren Storts was born in South Korea and adopted to her family in Norman, OK where she was raised with four other brothers, also adopted from Korea. She attended Norman North High School and graduated in 2006. Lauren is a Sooner at heart, and attended the University of Oklahoma for undergraduate studies until 2010, graduating with a Bachelor of Science. She then moved to Oklahoma City to attend The OU College of Dentistry, and finished school in 2014 earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She completed a one-year General Practice Residency at OU Children's Hospital, where she received additional training with special needs and medically compromised patients, interceptive orthodontics, and sedation dentistry.
Lauren met Travis while in school, and they were married in 2016, and had their daughter Sophie in 2017. Lauren loves her dogs, cooking, going to movies, Sooner football, The Thunder, and spending time with family and friends.
Lauren is also a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, Oklahoma Association of Women Dentists, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Mary graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 2012, and then attended Oklahoma State University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She then earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
Mary married her high school sweetheart, Michael Goins in 2016. They currently have 5 fur babies: 4 dogs and a cat. While growing up in the Garvin County area, Mary enjoyed showing livestock and participating in various leadership opportunities through 4H and FFA. She spends most of her spare time in Elmore City, OK working on her family ranch.
Mary is also a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Association of Women Dentist, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Political Action Committee.
Julie graduated from Ardmore High school, and then attended The University of Oklahoma where she received a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been employed at Storts Family Dentistry for 10 years. In her free time she enjoys watching her daughters’ sporting events and playing golf. Her favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is seeing patients of all ages, and getting to know the patients and their families.
From Marietta, Kathy graduated from Marietta High school in 2004, and went to Rose State College and graduated in 2007 with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing for 11 years, and has been with Storts since August of 2015. She is a member of Marietta Church of Christ, and volunteers at Marietta Public Schools. She likes to spend time with her husband and two daughters, Kylie and Kynzlee. She likes to read and spend time outdoors. Her favorite thing about being a hygienist is the interaction with all the patients, getting to know people and helping them with their oral health. She also loves her work family!
After graduating from Vici High school Amy attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University, then Amarillo College to study Dental Hygiene. She graduated from Dental Hygiene School in 1998, and has 20 years of dental hygiene experience. She and her husband Billy moved to Ardmore in 2015. She joined Storts Family Dentistry in 2015 and has enjoyed getting to know the great people of Southern Oklahoma. She attends Merrick Drive Church of Christ and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
Terri is from Healdton, OK. She attended Rose State College’s Dental Hygiene Program and graduated in 2002. She has been practicing Dental Hygiene for 16 years, and has been at Storts Family Dentistry for 15 of those years. She loves spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies who make her truly happy. She also enjoys working in her yard and traveling to new places. She and her husband Carey are huge Thunder fans, and attend most games. She attends the Church of Christ and loves her church family. She is a member of the Healdton Hospital Board. She loves that she is part of an incredibly hard working team. She loves that she has made some very special friends over the years.
Thuy graduated from Ardmore High School in 2000, and attended University of OKlahoma where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After several years in the financial industry, she returned to OU to complete her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and graduated in May 2018. She lives in Tishomingo with her husband, Casey, and has one son, Hunter. She loves spending time with her family, fishing, snowboarding and going to the lake. She is a huge fan of the OU Sooners and OKC Thunder. Her favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is educating patients on oral health and it’s overall effects on the body. She truly enjoys building a relationship with all of her patients. Thuy is also a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and Oklahoma Dental Hygiene Association.
Arron graduated from Ardmore High School in 2000 and then attended Northeastern State University where she was a member of the Redmen golf team for three years. After her time at NSU she attended the University of Oklahoma and completed her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene degree in 2005. Arron has practiced dental hygiene for 15 years in Oklahoma City and Missouri before joining Storts Family Dentistry in 2019. Arron enjoys spending time with her two sons, Landry and Holden in her free time. Arron loves getting to know her patients and making them feel comfortable while helping them improve their oral health.
